Travel Talk Tuesday is back after a summer hiatus. Here are upcoming presentations you won’t want to miss!
Sept. 24—Tips, Tricks & Tools for Better Airline Travel
Join us on Sept. 24 at 3 p.m. in the La Mesa room for Donald Mamula’s presentation on everything you could ever want to know about navigating airline travel to your best advantage.
Donald and his wife, Linda, originally from Pittsburgh, relocated to SaddleBrooke Ranch six years ago. Donald loves to travel! With over 3 million air miles and an inquisitive mind, he’s mastered the art of navigating the airlines. Donald will share his advice including: strategies that maximize value, the best research tools, and how to decipher airline lingo. Ever wonder if an open jaw ticket would be more efficient than a conventional round-trip ticket? Well Donald is going to explain the differences and advantages of each. We’ll learn how to utilize and leverage what he’s learned to maximize our travel dollars.
After Donald’s presentation, we’ll be able to better maximize our travel dollars. Then get ready for October’s Travel Talk Tuesday’s presentation.
Oct. 29—The Ultimate Driving Tour in the Alps
Join us on Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. in the La Mesa room when Doug Sedam and his wife, Melanie, who relocated to SaddleBrooke five years ago, will happily take us on their journey starting in Milan, Italy, and driving through Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, and Germany. We’ll learn about the nuts and bolts of driving in Europe and whether that’s right for you. They’ll take us to charming towns and lakes, on epic hikes through magnificent mountain ranges, and, oh yes, to wineries and restaurants. Be prepared for a dream travel extravaganza.
