The Busy Bees in Unit16B
Larry Ingram
The people who live in Unit 16B are Busy Bees because that unit has something going on all the time. Bocce Ball every Saturday afternoon, Happy Hour at the Ranch House, Hand and Foot and Mexican train once a month. The big event was the annual Christmas party where Pam and Tom invited everyone into their beautifully decorated home and everyone showed up making it an elbow to elbow event. There was live music and snacks in abundance. (Photos by Larry Ingram)
Unit 19 Cookie and Ornament Exchange
Mary Ann Waldron
Neighbors in Unit 19 enjoyed hot apple cider, cocoa with marshmallows, and tea as they shared cookies with each other on Dec. 20, 2024. Hostess Sherri Gilman welcomed the bakers—and a few husbands—who traded recipes and baking stories. A number of folks also brought ornaments and exchanged them for something new.
Unit 19 Social Committee has plans for additional get togethers including Chinese New Year, Super Bowl, and St. Patrick’s Day and other activities like Bunco, walking club, book club, and cooking club. Wow! That’s a busy unit.
