Creating with Friends will happen on Feb. 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Art Room within the Creative Arts building. The premise of the event is for you to find your creative outlet … whether it is watercolor, colored pencils, acrylic, pastels, or pen and ink. Come and try some type of self expression. It could be abstraction, Zentangle design, collage, realism, impressionism, or mixed medium. It’s your choice what to experiment with, and you can try them all during 2025. Some months there will be demos starting at 1:15 p.m. Check the SBR Art Club website at sbrartclub.clubexpress.com for additional information. The event happens monthly, every third Thursday afternoon. Supplies are provided, no cost to you, no membership needed, and mentors are waiting to help. Check us out and tap into your creative self.
