In April, special guest speaker Kenn Riordan of SaddleBrooke Ranch spoke about his five years living and working in Russia and Ukraine. Kenn explained the historical roots of the conflict, his experiences in Russia and delivering steel out of Mariupol, Ukraine, for a Vietnam Green Beret client, and what he believes needs to happen now.
Kenn is a retired career U.S. Army Infantry officer with service in the 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 9th IDs. He graduated from West Point, served as the Operations Officer for the Korean DMZ, credited with seven combat patrols, and later served the Secretary of Defense with responsibility for Missile and Chem/Bio Non-Proliferation, representing the SECDEF at 200 meetings at the State Department, and also as a Military Aide to President Ronald Reagan.
Kenn currently operates an insurance agency specializing in senior health care, and has for 30+ years lead a Society of current and former White House Military Aides from 16 administrations beginning with President Roosevelt that he founded.
The SaddleBrooke Ranch Veterans Club is a social group. We share stories and have fun! There are no dues, no requirements, just be a veteran! We provide information for vets and opportunities for patriotic events and programs. Spouses are always welcome. The next meeting of the SaddleBrooke Ranch Veterans Club will be Wednesday, May 14, at 10:30 a.m.
