Only 12 miles from SaddleBrooke Ranch, Oracle State Park is a 4,000-acre wildlife refuge in the foothills of the Catalinas. It has more than 15 miles of trails, including a section of the Arizona Trail. The park welcomes committed volunteers to work four hours or more each week maintaining trails or greeting visitors and running the gift shop. Future possibilities include working with environmental education, guiding specific hikes, and taking groups through the Kannally Ranch House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

If interested in spending some time each week in this beautiful setting, apply to be a volunteer at www.azstateparks.com (click on “Volunteer” under “Visitor Resources” at the very bottom of the page). For questions or to follow up, call 520-896-2425.
