Robert and Kellie Hunter closed on their new home on Blue Palm Drive in Unit 9 in August from San Diego, Calif. Robert has also lived in London, England, and Oakland, Calif. The friendly neighbors here sold them on the Ranch. They enjoy being active. They are both veterans—thank you for your service! They say the love of God, family, and friends is very special, and courteousness and kindness make the world a pleasant place to be. We agree!
Dennis and Michelle Bills moved into their new home on Opal Drive in Unit 18C in August from Cody, Wyo. They have also lived in Colorado and Montana. The community amenities sold them on moving to the Ranch.
Brian and Janine Babusch moved into their new home on Travertine Street in Unit 18B in April, moving from Anchorage, Alaska, with their pets. They have also lived in Oklahoma City, Chicago, and New York. Like many of our neighbors, they had to move out of the snow. Brian is retired Air Force and is now attending college in physical therapy psychology. Janine is a real estate agent in Alaska.
Darryl Janisse and Lynn Zoyiopoulos moved “a long way” to the Ranch from Chandler, Ariz. They live on Basalt Drive in Unit 14B, along with their two fish. They have also lived in Michigan and Ohio. All our amenities and clubs as well as our friendly neighbors helped them make the decision to move to the Ranch. They enjoy golf, pickleball, running, and travel.
William and Julie Helseth, from Minnesota, live at the Ranch with their cat on Travertine Street in Unit 18B. Their aunt and uncle live at the Ranch.
Mark and Diane Sahr come from Minnetrista, Minn. They closed on their new home on Towhee Road in Unit 18B. They have also lived in Iowa, Texas, and South Dakota. As so many have told us, getting out of the winter weather, the amenities available at the Ranch, location, beauty, and our friendly community helped them make the decision to move. Their hobbies are pickleball, golf, wine, RVing, and spending more time with their grandchildren in the area.
Yong Fan and Tim Zamustny moved to the Ranch from Frederick, Md. Their new home is on Cardinal Lane Unit 16C. They have also lived in New York and Ohio. They were drawn to the Ranch by the climate and tennis. They love to hike.
JoAnn Leach closed on her new villa on Sandhurst Lane in Unit 21 in July, moving from California. She has also lived in Minnesota. She moved to the Ranch to have a new home, and her sister lives close by.
Deena Mastraca moved to the Ranch from Southern California with her two dogs. She lives on Flint Drive in Unit 14B. She has also lived in Seattle. Deena is very crafty, so our Creative Arts & Tech Center was a big draw to the Ranch. She also enjoys anything outdoors, like pickleball and spending time in the mountains.
Joe Cici and Michelle Wells moved from Temecula, Calif., with their three pets to their new home on Obsidian Drive in Unit 17. They are loving our pool.
Natasha and Dave Hlebechuk closed on their new home on Quartzite Road in Unit 17 from Gresham, Ore. They were drawn here by the peace and beauty of the area as well as the active adult lifestyle.

Welcome to our new homeowners moving into our beautiful community in the last few months.
We have a wonderful welcome program for all new residents to SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR). Each month, the Newcomers Welcome Volunteers hold a gathering for new homeowners and renters. You are invited to attend to learn more about our community. We take photographs of homeowners to be included in the SaddleBrooke Ranch Roundup newspaper. It is optional to have your photograph taken, but it is a good way to be introduced to the community.
We encourage all new residents to visit the SBR Front Desk to meet Jamie Shipley, located at the opposite end of the Ranch House Grill, to receive their orientation information for SaddleBrooke Ranch. We also encourage renters to visit Jamie to receive a renter’s card to use at the fitness center and indoor pool. Jamie can register you and provide access to other HOA information.
The group of Newcomers Welcome Volunteers consists of SBR residents who enjoy meeting people and welcoming them to our community. They are active and enthusiastically involved with many of the clubs and organizations. Contact our group if you would like to become a Newcomers Welcome Volunteer.
If you have further questions, contact SBR HOA administrator Jamie Shipley at [email protected] or volunteer Linda Shannon-Hills at [email protected].
The pictured new residents attended our Aug. 10 Newcomers Welcome gathering. Please welcome them!
Photographs of all the newcomer residents who attended were taken by Lola Hess. Volunteers assisting at this gathering were co-presenter Pete Watson and registration assistants Vicki Warning and Laura Haslett. Thank you, all!
