Welcome New Neighbors

Dean (Chip) and Pamela Hiestand closed in late April. They moved from Sedro Wooley, Wash., with their goldendoodle, Bereha, to their new home on Greenstone Drive in Unit 18C. Coming from Washington, the sunshine and the quiet was a big seller for them. They are enjoying pickleball. Dean worked 30 years for Boeing. They had an Alpaca Ranch with 10 acres.

Elizabeth and Bruce Simonsen moved into their home in May 2024, but had purchased the home back in 2015. They are now getting to enjoy the community, amenities, and the beauty of Arizona. They enjoy golf and swimming.

Bill and Julie Remiker moved into their new home on Angora Place in Unit 46B in mid-April 2024 from Kenosha, Wis. The lifestyle at the Ranch, the amenities, and outdoor activities such as golf sold them on moving here.

Brenda and Peter Martinez moved into their new home in May 2024 on Cypress Canyon Drive in Unit 19. They moved from Litchfield Park, Ariz., with their pets. They have also lived in Hudson Valley, N.Y. They were sold on moving to the Ranch by the floor plans, amenities, and cooler weather. Softball and walking the dogs are a couple of their hobbies.

Pete and Pam Dailey closed on their home in May 2024 from Evergreen, Colo. They are new residents in Unit 18A on Chestnut Way. Like many who moved to the Ranch, they were sold on the climate, people, and golf. They also enjoy the fitness center.

Tom and Deb Gilbertson moved into their new home in Unit 18C, on Limestone Street, at the end of May from Asheville, N.C. They have also lived in Grafton, Wis.

Bob and Donna Colletta moved into their new home mid-May on Cypress Canyon Drive in Unit 19 from Mesa, Ariz. They are looking forward to all the activities and maybe a bit cooler weather at the Ranch.

Welcome to our new homeowners moving into our beautiful community in the last few months. We have a wonderful welcome program for all new residents to SaddleBrooke Ranch.

Each month, the Newcomers Welcome Volunteers hold a gathering for new homeowners and renters. You are invited to attend to learn more about our community. We take photographs of homeowners to be included in the SaddleBrooke Ranch Roundup newspaper. It is optional to have your photograph taken, but it is a good way to be introduced to the community.

We encourage all new residents to visit the SBR HOA Desk to meet Jamie Shipley, located at the opposite end of the Ranch House Grill, to receive their orientation information for SaddleBrooke Ranch. We also encourage renters to visit Jamie to receive a renter’s card to use at the fitness center and indoor pool. Jamie can register you with access to other HOA information.

The group of Newcomers Welcome volunteers consists of SBR residents who enjoy meeting people and welcoming them to our community. They are active and enthusiastically involved with many of the clubs and organizations. Contact our group if you would like to become a Newcomer Welcome Volunteer.

Kevin and Dawn Swanlaw closed on their new home in Unit 19 on Cypress Canyon Drive after living in their 30-foot Winnebago motorhome. They previously lived in Illinois, California, and Arizona. They enjoy biking, hiking, and working out.
