Mick and Linda Maillot moved into their new home in early June on Blue Granite Lane in Unit 17 from Golden, Colo.; but they have also lived in Tucson. The community and the people sold them on moving to the Ranch. They have two cats. Linda likes crafts and Mick likes playing golf.
Barb and Larry Cohn moved into their new home in late April on Hornbill in Unit 4B. They are from Colorado. Better weather in the winter and our amenities were a draw to the Ranch. They have two dogs. They like to read and hike.
Ruth and David Vanscoyk are renting at the Ranch while making their decision on moving to SBR. They have a dog. They have lived in Las Cruces, N.M.; Arizona; and Wyoming. Laura and Darrell Couts moved to the Ranch from Redmond Washington. They closed in June on Limestone Street In Unit 18C. They have also lived in Colorado, Minnesota, and Michigan. What sold them on SBR are the community, amenities, and friends already here. Darrell enjoys flying, fishing and traveling. Laura enjoys reading, cruising, and spending time with family.
Val Shoemaker closed on her new home in Unit 10 on Jacaranda Place in late April. She moved from Mesa, Ariz., and still owns a home in Colorado. Welcome to our new homeowners moving into our beautiful community in the last few months. We have a wonderful welcome program for all new residents to SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR).
This fall, the Newcomers Welcome Volunteers will hold a gathering for new homeowners and renters. You are invited to attend to learn more about our community. We take photographs of homeowners to be included in the SaddleBrooke Ranch Roundup newspaper. It is optional to have your photograph taken, but it is a good way to be introduced to the community.
We encourage all new residents to visit the SBR HOA Desk to meet Jamie Shipley, located at the opposite end of the Ranch House Grill, to receive their orientation information for SaddleBrooke Ranch. We also encourage renters to visit Jamie to receive a renter’s card to use at the fitness center and indoor pool. Jamie can register you with access to other HOA information.
The group of Newcomers Welcome Volunteers consists of SBR residents who enjoy meeting people and welcoming them to our community. They are active and enthusiastically involved with many of the clubs and organizations. Contact our group if you would like to become a Newcomer Welcome Volunteer.
If you have further questions, contact Jamie Shipley at [email protected] or volunteer Linda Shannon-Hills at [email protected].
