Linda Shannon-Hills
We welcome our new residents moving into our beautiful community in the last few months. On June 4, the pictured new and soon-to-be residents attended the Newcomers Welcome Gathering. Please welcome them.
Not pictured: David Lagarce just moved into his new home on Osprey from Pasadena, Calif. He has also lived in Massachusetts, Michigan, Florida, Texas, and New York. His friends living at the Ranch sold him on moving.
Each month, the Newcomers Welcome Volunteers hold a gathering for new homeowners and renters. You are invited to attend to learn more about our community. We take photographs of homeowners to be included in the SaddleBrooke Ranch Roundup newspaper. It is optional to have your photograph taken, but it is a good way to be introduced to the community.
We encourage all new residents to visit the SBR HOA Desk to meet Jamie Shipley, located at the opposite end of the Ranch House Grill, to receive their orientation information for SaddleBrooke Ranch. We also encourage renters to visit Jamie to receive a renter’s card to use at the fitness center and indoor pool. Jamie can register new homeowners with access to other HOA information.
The group of Newcomers Welcome Volunteers consists of SBR residents who enjoy meeting people and welcoming them to our community. They are active and enthusiastically involved with many of the clubs and organizations. Contact our group if you would like to become a Newcomer Welcome Volunteer.
If you have further questions, contact Jamie Shipley at jamie.shipley@robson.com or volunteer Linda Shannon-Hills at linda@shannonhills.net.

Thom Tschetter moved into his new home on Sand Hurst Lane in Unit 21A from Prescott Lakes, Ariz., with his dog, Angel. Thom has also lived in Sun Lakes, Ariz., Bellingham, Wash., and Southern California. Having his son living at the Ranch and the friendliness of the community was a major selling point for moving to SBR. Thom enjoys pickleball, golf, and writing, as he is featured in several publications.

Bill and Sheila Ruzzamenti moved into their new home in Unit 16C on Dead Wood Trail with their two dogs, Vinnie and Max, from Rancho Murieta, Calif. The community, amenities and neighbors sold them on relocating to the Ranch. Bill’s sister also lives at the Ranch. They enjoy golf, glasswork, woodworking, and gardening.

Karen Feltz and Robert “Bob” Yager closed on their new home together on Oak Stone Lane in Unit 19A. Karen has rented at the Ranch, enjoying the amenities and giving her a good feeling for living at SBR. She previously moved from Oahu, Hawaii, and enjoys pickleball and the various groups and clubs at the Creative Arts and Tech Center. Bob still lives in Titusville, Fla., but is looking forward to moving to the Ranch full-time. He enjoys pickleball and La Hacienda Club.

Christopher Sullivan is a Chicago native and second generation SBR resident, living on Sandpiper Place. His life journey has landed him in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Hong Kong, Illinois, Indiana, Japan, and Taiwan. Christopher is an ice hockey and football fan, enjoying a round of golf occasionally. He never tires of the mountain views, breathtaking sunsets, and star-filled skies.

Joanne Spiess and James “Jim” Clarke moved into their new home in early June on Talc Street in Unit 18B from Phoenix, Ariz., with their dog, Zeke. They have also lived in New York City, Florida, London, and Canada. As many new residents find, the lifestyle and climate were the draw to move to the Ranch. They enjoy stained glass, woodworking, hiking, kayaking, and biking.

Carol Swanson and Rob Gillette made the big move from Tucson to their new home in Unit 19 on Cypress Canyon Drive. Carol has also lived in Colorado. The community, amenities, and the new house sold them on moving. Rob likes fly fishing and Carol enjoys music, needlepoint, and sewing.

Monica Bach is currently renting while her new home is being built on Raven Way. She comes from Leonore, Ill., and has previously lived in Stamford, Conn. Our great community and residents, the location, and the weather sold her on the Ranch. She enjoys meeting new people, walking, biking, and reading.
