Our Mudslingers pottery club is exploding with new members, new classes, and new tools. Our 2024 board members are Claire Tietje, President; Ladd Lindsay, Vice President; Michelle Kembitzky, Secretary; Patti Jo Lewis, Treasurer; and Rebecca Hilchie, Board Member at Large. They are a great group of potters to take us into the new year.
Want to join us to try out your creative juices? Our upcoming Intro to Pottery classes are on the schedule. There are two parts to the intro program; the first is hand-building, and the second is glazing techniques. In January the schedule is Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1 to 3 p.m. (first session) and the second session is Wednesday, Jan. 24, 1 to 3 p.m. Our February class is Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1 to 3 p.m., and the second session is Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1 to 3 p.m. We provide all the materials, tools, and clay you will need at these sessions. To sign up, drop by the studio to enroll and pay the $20 intro fee (this covers the first and second sessions for the month).
Studio hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Stop by during studio hours to chat with our monitors who will show you around the facility. Check out our website at www.sbr-mudslingers.club.
