Did you know that 15 to 30 minutes of exercise can improve heart rate, muscle strength, immunity, as well as mental well-being? The benefits of exercise can also compound over time. Since we know this is true, why do so many resist exercise? SaddleBrooke Ranch is an active adult community. Most of us moved here to be active not only socially but physically. We all are very lucky to live here and have the opportunity to live the latter part of our lives with resources at our fingertips.

Understandably, the gym might not be for everyone with so many other options available such as golf, pickleball, bocce ball, tennis, and other activities involving exercise. But when it is too hot for these activities, the gym and fitness classes are always another option. It’s also understandable that many who have never really taken exercise classes or been to the gym might feel intimidated, but have no fear! Our classes are taught by experienced instructors who want to start you on your fitness journey. What do you have to lose? Besides reaping the benefits from exercise, you have an opportunity to meet new friends and, best of all, just feel better! All this can be yours by taking the first step … so don’t wait. Surely you can find a class that fits your schedule and wants. Whether it is aqua fitness to improve your balance and cardio, Zumba to get your groove on, yoga to add some peace to your day, barre to tone your body, spinning to jumpstart your day, or BodyWorks to challenge yourself. The class for you is there!

It is super simple to register for classes. Just go to the SaddleBrooke Ranch HOA website at www.saddlebrookeranchhoa.org, scroll down and find the day and class you want to register for, click on it, then click on view details and then create a reservation. If you have problems registering, just show up for class and the instructor will be glad to help you. We all want to live a long and healthy life, so just do it!  Remember, “Be You, Do You, For You!” Take that step and see you soon!
