After tennis refreshments

Diehard racquet enthusiasts braved the heat and humidity in homage to tennis’s premier tennis event, Wimbledon. Wimbledon at the Ranch was a July special event hosted by the SaddleBrooke Ranch Tennis Association. Members had a fun morning celebrating the oldest, most prestigious tennis tournament in the world with round robin tennis, a trivia contest, and, of course, strawberries and cream, tea sandwiches, scones, and the traditional Pimm’s. Attendee and club member Ginger Buetow raved about the event. “The tennis social events are a blast thanks to the creativity and hard work of our event planners, Debbie Argabright and Jill Stark. The combination of tennis play and tennis trivia followed by refreshments made for a great time!”
There was more summer frivolity to be had. On Aug. 9, members danced the night away at The Gaslight Light Music Hall Dance Party. An enjoyable time was had by all! Thanks to the club’s event planners, the fun continues with the following activities:
Sept. 18: Social Tennis and Happy Hour combined club event with SaddleBrooke.
Oct. 15: Movie night at SBR: Rocky Horror Picture Show in Sol Ballroom.
Nov. 11-16: Steiness Festival—Celebrating the 10th anniversary! Tennis and POP play during the week of Nov. 11. Dinner/Dance Event—Saturday, Nov. 16.
Without a doubt, the SaddleBrooke Ranch Tennis Association is a vibrant, lively club that combines fitness and fun!
