On Sept. 16, SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Wine Club members and their guests enjoyed a Pinot Noir tasting featuring wines from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Bill Felix from RNDC Wine Distributing presented the history of each featured vineyard and their wines. The presentation also covered the latitude, climate, and soil similarities of the Willamette Valley and the Burgundy region of France, which is considered the traditional home of Pinot Noir.
Next up on the Wine Club’s Schedule of Events was October’s Wine Dinner and Murder Mystery Event, “The Billionaire’s Ball.” It was a truly fun evening of fine wine and fine dining with a mystery needing to be solved. Our sleuthing skills were tested, laughs were had, and a mystery was solved.
On Nov. 18, we will be hosting a Sparkling Fine Wine Tasting in the Ranch House Dining Room featuring sparkling wines from France and the United States. In the words of Dom Perignon, a French monk who is said to have invented champagne, “Come quickly, I am tasting the stars!” Come taste the stars with us.
Our last (but not least) event for 2025, will be a holiday mixer in the Sol Ballroom on Dec. 2. We promise that this one will be more than the traditional holiday party. Who knows, we may even leave the holiday part out. You will just have to attend to find out what we have planned to end the year!
