The Wine Club of SBR had another outstanding event, “Red Carpet Award Winning Wines Gala” on Oct. 21, pairing wines with a chef crafted menu!
Highlights of the event included a food and wine pairing contest where Chef Jeremy Imes and his team competed for the best pairings.
The winners of the Chef Wine and Food Pairings are:
1st place: Julian Lopez—Braised Short Rib with Torbreck Vintners Juveniles Red
2nd place: Johnny Bartolic—Beef Birria Tostada Cup with Torbreck Vintners Shiraz
3rd place: Dan Davis—Golden Ceviche with Resonance Vineyards Chardonnay
Members had the opportunity to win a variety of prizes, including a Ranch House Wine Locker for a year, restaurant gift cards, wine, and wine–related gifts.
Many thanks to the volunteer board, wine advisors, culinary advisors, committee members, and Ranch House staff who gave their time to make this event so successful.
