On May 17 on the outside Event Patio, members of the Wine Club of SaddleBrooke Ranch (WCSBR) joined other members for a fun mixer and stocked up their wine reserves for summer!
Four wines were paired with selections made by the club’s wine advisors and culinary teams. Chilled bottles of whites and pinks from a unique variety of wine regions started pouring at 4 p.m.
The wine and food pairing menu consisted of:
* Gruet Brut Rose, New Mexico, with Asian Sesame Cauliflower Bites
* The Four Graces Rose Wine, Oregon, with Crispy Gnocchi and Prosciutto and Manchego
* Mensch Roussanne, California, with Seared Ahi and Jicama Slaw on Mini Corn Tostada
* Trimbach Pinot Blanc, France, with Watermelon and Feta Caprese and Balsamic Glaze
The next event is a wine tasting featuring central California coast vineyards scheduled for Tuesday, July 19, in the Sol Ballroom. For information about membership in WCSBR, contact Debbie Chapman, membership chair, at [email protected].
