Remember, Honor, Teach: Remember a veteran by sponsoring a Christmas wreath. Honor a veteran by volunteering to lay wreaths on Dec. 14. Teach by inviting friends and family to participate.
Since 2014, Saddlebrooke Ranch residents have significantly contributed to the growth of this program. In 2023, through the patriotism and generosity of our community, $1,925 was raised through donations and the purchase of raffle tickets.
Linda Nicholson and Donna Prewitt will coordinate the raffle ticket sales and accept donations at SaddleBrooke Ranch. Linda and Donna volunteer on behalf of Southern Arizona Gold Star Mothers to support Evergreen Cemetery. Raffle ticket sales dates will be announced on Neighbor Nextdoor and will run through Nov. 15.
Each year Jim Click participates in Millions for Tucson by donating three prizes for the raffle. For 2024, the Jim Click Automotive Team is presenting the following prizes:
Grand Prize is a new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe Plug-in Hybrid.
Second Prize is two first-class, round trip airline tickets to anywhere in the world (some restrictions apply).
Third Prize is $5,000 cash.
Raffle tickets sell for $25 each or five (5) for $100. Cash and checks are accepted; checks may be made payable to Wreaths Across America or Southern Arizona Gold Star Mothers. You may also donate by picking up one of the brochures and scanning the QR code or donating through the website: wreathsacrossamerica.org. National Wreaths Across America Day is Saturday, Dec. 14. Volunteers are needed to lay the wreaths on veterans’ graves. Details of the ceremony and locations will be announced on Neighbor Nextdoor.
