Bev Kloehn and Laura Benson
The League of Women Voters – SaddleBrooke Unit is working with the principal and counselors of San Manuel High School to coordinate a Career Day program for their students in early 2015; we need the residents of SaddleBrooke and SaddleBrooke Ranch to make it successful.
Our residents have a wealth of experience across a broad spectrum of careers that will be invaluable to share with these young people as they think about and prepare for their futures as productive adult citizens.
On October 14 from 10:30 to noon in the Coyote Room North/SBHOA1 clubhouse, we’ll have coffee/tea and goodies to entice you to join us for an informational meeting to share details about how you can be involved with us in this worthwhile educational project. Being involved won’t be hard and won’t take lots of your time, but it will make a difference in your life and that of young people who don’t have the same advantages and opportunities as those in other schools in our area. They need the value of your experience, and we need your help to provide it.
Come and spend a part of your morning with us on Tuesday, October 14. For more information, call Bev Kloehn at 520-818-0914.
