Discover what radio-controlled (RC) sailing is all about, such as how the boats are operated, how the sailor’s skills capture the energy of the wind to maximize boat performance, and how sailing contrary to the wind direction can be accomplished. Watch skillful sailing being narrated in real time. Notice the silence of the boat gracefully cruising across the water.

Get your questions answered about sailing, like: What happens if a boat capsizes? How can I get a boat of my own? How will the club teach me about my boat and how to sail it? You will go away with an indepth knowledge of remote control sailing.

Or linger for a while and get your hands on a controller to give it a try. Learn what it takes to join the club and how it will feel being a member. (Hint: No experience is needed, just a desire to be one-with-your-boat in a delightful setting with fellow sailors.)

Check the bulletin on the RC Sailing website at rcsailing.visipress.net posted conspicuously at the top of that page for the date and time of the event. We plan to offer a series of educational events, so keep your eyes on the website.
