Forty Unit 8A residents thoroughly enjoyed an evening of getting to know one another in a more intimate setting and sampling the culinary skills of their neighbors at Unit 8A’s second Progressive Dinner on September 12. The evening started with small groups gathering for appetizers at seven Unit 8A resident homes. Participants were then “scrambled” and moved to seven different hosting homes for soup or salad, then onward to other homes for main courses ranging from lasagna to beef stroganoff. The event ended on a delicious note with dessert for all at Maia and Len Schenkel’s home.
