The SaddleBrooke Ranch Pickleball Club members continue their success with several tournaments in February and early March.
February 3-5, 2015 – All City Pickleball Tournament held at Venture Out at Mesa. One team competed.
February 17-22, 2015 – Grand Canyon State Games held at Pueblo El Mirage RV and Golf Resort. Two teams competed.
March 2-4, 2015 – Green Valley Senior Games held at the Quail Creek Pickleball Club. Fourteen teams from SaddleBrooke Ranch competed in Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Men’s Doubles with three teams moving on to win medals. In Men’s 3.0 Doubles age 50+, Mike Fielding and Tim McCauley won the Silver medal and Gary Grasso and Ken Cook won the Bronze medal. In Women’s 3.0 Doubles age 50+, Sally Grasso and Debbie McCauley won the Bronze medal.
March 6-8, 2015 – Duel in the Desert at Palm Creek Pickleball Tournament. Seven teams from SaddleBrooke Ranch competed in Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles. In Men’s 3.5 Doubles, Craig McHugh and Keith Sturdivant won the Silver medal. In Women’s 3.0 Doubles, Sally Grasso and Debbie McCauley won the Bronze medal.
The SBR Pickleball Association is proud of all our members capturing five medals in these tournaments. Congratulations to the medal winners.
