Has anyone seen these guys? Better yet, does anyone even know who these guys are? Five neighborly residents of the Ranch decided they were going to bike together Tuesday morning. A couple are very experienced and a few are very inexperienced!
They loaded up on their safety gear: helmets, bike shorts, sunglasses, sunblock, water, etc. They had set their goal for a lofty 20 miles! They rode a little ways around the Ranch without any falls or bruised knees. The newbies even felt pretty good about balancing and gaining some speed. They were feeling confident they would reach their 20 mile goal—maybe even an extra mile or two.
They weren’t very long into their ride when the booms, crackle and streaking started up—the monsoon decided to invade their morning ride. Now they really gained speed—moving from one line of bikers to flying different directions to hit home. Well, they only made about eight of the 20 miles. We haven’t seen “the group” but are assuming all made it home. Am thinking the SBR Silver Alert may be over. However, there was one piece of safety equipment they forgot—their rain gear! That will be for the next time!
