Zentangle is a fun, easy-to-learn, and relaxed drawing method where you create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. These patterns (tangles) are created with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, and orbs. Patterns/tangles are drawn on small pieces of paper called “tiles.”
On June 28 in the Creative Arts & Technology Center (CATC) art room, 14 SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Art Club members learned the art of Zentangle from Val Barsevich, a certified Zentangle instructor. The best time was had by all learning how to draw patterns in a light, easy environment with an excellent instructor.
All students had a great time in the class and encouraged our instructor to come back for more Zentangle instruction. And she is! If you missed the first Introduction to Zentangle class, it’s not too late to learn! Join us on Sept. 13 for the next class (you must be an SBR Art Club member to participate). No artistic ability is required!
