Will you be familiar with the songs sung in Japanese, Italian, and Spanish languages?

Two Concert Dates

You won’t want to miss our joyful holiday concert titled “Where in the World Is Santa Claus?” Tickets are available online at the DesertView Performing Arts Center for our Dec. 3 Sunday matinee and Dec. 4 Monday evening concert.

Silent Night

Come hear the choir sing “Silent Night.” Originally titled “Stille Nacht,” the song was first performed in 1818 in Oberndorf at the St. Nicholas parish church located on the Salzach River in present-day Austria. There in 1816,  a young priest, Father Joseph Mohr, wrote the poem, “Stille Nacht,” in the wake of the Napoleonic Wars according to Jocob Utti, a Seattle-based writer. Father Mohr asked Franz Xaver Gruber, a schoolmaster and organist, to write the melody for the lyrics with guitar accompaniment. It was performed for an evening mass on Christmas Eve.

The SaddleBrooke Singers would love to see you in the audience in December, singing, tapping your feet, and nodding your head in time to the music. Create a holiday memory of music in 2023. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear our voices joined together in song. Purchase your tickets now at www.dvpac.net. You could be watching one of your neighbors or friends onstage. We guarantee you will be entertained.
