A number of SaddleBrooke and SaddleBrooke Ranch residents have discovered Logan, Utah, as the perfect place to spend the summer. Home of Utah State University, the Summer Citizens Program offers various opportunities for seniors that are unparalleled.
If you are interested in education, there are classes that are one week long. Additionally, Logan offers a vast array of cultural options, including plays, operas, daily concerts, Sunday night alumni concerts, and theater courses.
For those more athletically inclined, there is tennis, pickleball, golf, cycling, swimming, and incredibly gorgeous hiking.
The Cache County Chamber of Commerce has accepted the responsibility of implementing this program.
The town of Logan is very receptive to the Summer Citizens as expressed by their friendliness, helpfulness, and smiles. The summer residents are always overwhelmed by their efforts to make our summer a memorable one.
The best way I can describe this program is summer “camp.” If you would like to hear more about it, join us for a presentation on Jan. 22 at 1:30 p.m. in the SaddleBrooke MountainView Ballroom.
