On Nov. 13, five Lady Niners participated in a three-hour Fused Glass Workshop at Absolutely Art Gallery & Gifts to show our support for them as a new sponsor. We had the opportunity to make one of the following items: desert scene, flower pot, hearts, vase, lantern, or ornaments/sun catchers!
The workshop was conducted by the owner, Pam Gappa. During the glass workshop, Pam shared and demonstrated the fascinating technique of fused glass. We had many kinds of glass and accessories with which to work. Then our pieces were fired in the kiln by Pam and were ready for pick up at the gallery a few days after our workshop.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or a budding novice, you will have fun creating your own masterpieces. Start thinking of fun designs and get some friends together and make an appointment. We all brought appetizers and beverages.
