SBR Santa’s Helpers chose Copper Canyon Assisted Living and Memory Care in Tucson for their 2023 Christmas Gift Drive this year. All during December, Christmas bags full of residents’ requests were filled and dropped off at a Unit 6 home. SaddleBrooke Ranch residents were very generous with their purchases for the seniors. Many of the residents’ requests were clothing, slippers, blankets, brushes and combs, and treats. In addition, we collected $25 gift cards for each of the staff members, along with Christmas wishes and sweets. On Dec. 22, we filled three vehicles with gifts and drove to Copper Canyon to deliver some joy. I’m sure that the residents were pleased with their numerous gifts and had a very merry Christmas. Thank you to everyone who participated and so generously purchased and packaged the 51 bags of gifts, and purchased gift cards. Happy New Year!
