Artists have been busy creating. On July 25 there was a simple demo using Zentangle designs. Friends tried micron pens and shading pencils to create artistic paper tiles. All the tiles produced were unique and successful. It was a great learning experience for everyone.
On Aug. 29, Creating with Friends had an open studio. It was a chance to try many different mediums: acrylics, pastels, inktense pens, colored pencils, pastel pencils, watercolor pencils, and more.
On Sept. 26, there will be an interesting demo from local ranch artist Linda Shannon-Hills. She will be demoing her unique rock art. Come and enjoy Linda’s colorful work.
Beat the heat and enjoy an afternoon with friends exploring different art venues. We have many supplies for your use. There is no cost and no requirements, just a desire to try something new or old. If you have participated in Creating with Friends before, come again. If you are working on a project, bring it along. We would love to see it This is an open and continuous adventure. Create, have fun, and enjoy. Bring a friend!
