The SaddleBrooke Ranch Bocce Club (SBRBC) Summer League playoff matches were played on Aug. 26 through 28. Only the top eight teams out of a field of 15 teams qualified for the playoffs. The Bocce Ball Blasters team, captain Terry Pendy, edged out the Ballz & Dollz team, captain Rich Rogers, for the championship after an exciting back–and–forth match. The Fall League starts Oct. 7. If you’re interested in playing bocce, an “Introduction to Bocce” session is open and free to any SBR resident on the first Tuesday of each month.
