The SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Conservatives in Action General Meeting is Thursday, Oct. 30, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the SBR Sol Ballroom. Everyone is welcome.
Please note! Watch for announcements about member-only events scheduled for our November and December monthly gatherings.
Join us as we welcome guest speakers:
Warren Petersen—Arizona State Senate President. Representative Petersen has served in the Arizona Legislature since 2012, where he was first elected to the AZ House of Representatives. He currently represents District 14, which covers Gilbert and Queen Creek. Throughout his career at the Legislature, he has advocated for limited government, reduced regulations, fiscally conservative initiatives, low taxes, and free market principles. Warren has served as House Majority Leader, Rules Chair, Commerce Chair, Judiciary Chair, and on the Ethics committee. He has a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University. Warren has received awards and is recognized for his leadership in standing up for life, families, free markets, small business, individual rights, and religious freedom. Warren is a third-generation resident of Gilbert, where he and his family currently reside.
Caitlin Orcutt—Turning Point Action, Picacho Field Representative. Currently, Caitlin works full-time with Turning Point Action, as the Picacho Field Representative, fighting every day for Arizona, for our kids, and for America’s future. In 2024, Caitlin began knocking on doors with Turning Point Action—and it ignited a fire in her. She especially enjoys meeting voters face-to-face and helping support the grassroots movement. Being involved in Turning Point is one of Caitlin’s proudest accomplishments. Caitlin graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health. She also completed The Disney College Program, and became a Walt Disney World employee. She was working in Florida when COVID-19 hit. Watching freedoms disappear overnight was a wake-up call, and the 2020 election further cemented her decision: “I could no longer sit on the sidelines. I had to get involved.” Protecting women’s sports is a cause close to Caitlin’s heart. Her sister was a D1 gymnast, and, having been a gymnast herself, the idea of women having to compete against men or share locker rooms was unacceptable to her. Caitlin resides in the Tucson area.
We hope you will mark your calendar and will join us each month as we welcome guest speakers, and schedule special events, which showcase a variety of political and human interest topics. We encourage our members to provide suggestions on growing our club in an atmosphere of friendship, learning, and outreach to our community.
In addition to articles in the Roundup each month, we post notices each Monday in the SBR Ranch Reminder. Our President, CJ Utecht, also sends out frequent notices via email to remind everyone of upcoming club activities.
