SaddleBrooke Ranch singers shine in Voices of the Oaks.

When Voices in the Oaks (VIO) launched the One in a Hundred Campaign nearly a year ago, there was an outpouring of support from more than 60 individuals who gave $50 or more to us. We are deeply grateful and now we are celebrating you with a Donor Appreciation Dinner. The dinner will be on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Oracle Community Center, and it will be an evening to remember with delicious food and live entertainment. For any new individual donors giving $50 or more before Oct. 1, we hope you can also join us for this celebration.
Voices in the Oaks singers are having a great time rehearsing in our new space at the beautiful Vista United Methodist Church in Catalina. We have a wonderful group of new and returning singers, along with our new Artistic Director, Omaris Torres-Frey, and our devoted Collaborative Pianist, Devin Gardner. We can’t wait to share our Rhythm of Life program with you in the Sol Ballroom on Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. General admission is $20. Students get in free with ID. Tickets are available in advance from VIO singers, through our website, and at the door. The concert lineup spans four languages (including Sanskrit!) and multiple genres with groovy pop, lyric ballads, and rhythmic songs sure to please our diverse audience.
Rehearsals will start in November for our Holiday Concert on Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. in the Sol Ballroom. Stay tuned on SBR Facebook and Nextdoor for more information.
