Too hot to golf? Why not try your hand at basket weaving in the “cool” studio at the Tech center. SBR Basket Makers are offering a new beginners class starting Tuesday, June 16, at the Art room in the Technology center. The class teaches the basics of basket weaving, and you don’t need any prior experience or “artistic” talent to get started. During the multiple sessions you will make three baskets. Each basket demonstrates different weaving techniques. All supplies and instructions are provided. We meet every Tuesday at the Arts room from 1 to 3 p.m. We are a fun and helpful group of weavers who enjoy the art of creating beautiful baskets.
