Each October, the SaddleBrooke Ranch Cancer Support Group (CSG) raises money to help battle cancer. The group began a wonderful new tradition in 2025 with its first annual Silent Auction. More than 100 items, donated by residents and local businesses, were available for bidding; along with a donation box for other generous attendees. The evening was an incredible success when well over 200 residents came to enjoy the festivities and participate in raising over $7,000 for cancer research and local assistance.
This year, the 2nd Annual FUNraising Auction takes place on Friday, Oct. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Bistro. AZ You Wish has once again generously donated their time to provide awesome music. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase … but the fun is free!
Monies raised will be donated to both Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society) and the Cancer Support Group to help our residents here at SaddleBrooke Ranch! This year we have unveiled our SBR Cancer Care Containers, filled with comfort items to help recipients throughout their treatment.
Of course this evening can’t be a success without you. Here are ways you can help:
1. Donate an auction item!
This can include gift cards/certificates or artwork such as paintings, glasswork, jewelry or woodworking. You can donate new electronics or throw a dinner party in your home! The ideas are endless. This year’s fun will include a “wine pull” and even a 50/50 raffle. To donate an item to the Fundraising Auction, contact Sandy Jessop at sjessop@att.net or 520-686-4566.
2. Join us for the FUNdraiser event!
* Bring cash to purchase tickets for the Wine Pull or 50/50 raffle tickets
* Bid on various auction items
* Make a cash or check donation
3. Can’t attend? You can still donate!
