In 1992, with the end of the holiday season approaching, the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine, found they had an excess of their live beautiful wreaths. They found a very special use for them by placing them on graves at Arlington Cemetery. By 2007, Wreaths Across America was organized. In 2025, with the help of corporate sponsors, thousands of individual donations, and volunteers 3.1 million wreaths were donated for the wreath laying ceremony at 5600 locations worldwide. At Arlington Cemetery, over 30,000 volunteers placed wreaths at 265,000 gravesites.
The mission of Wreaths Across America is to Remember, Honor, and Teach.
* Remember a veteran by sponsoring a wreath.
* Honor a veteran by volunteering to lay wreaths on Dec. 19.
* Teach by inviting friends and family to participate.
Since 2014, SaddleBrooke Ranch and SaddleBrooke residents have significantly contributed to the growth of this program by sponsoring wreaths.
It is easy to sponsor a wreath. The cost of one wreath is $17 and can be donated through the website: wreathsacrossamerica.org. You may also order through a brochure form or by scanning the QR code provided on the brochure.
