On Wednesday, January 24, the SaddleBrooke Ranch Tennis Association (SBRTA) scheduled some special mixed doubles play just for fun. While our club primarily focuses on helping members build skills, we have a balanced approach with the social aspects of Tennis. Our events leaders, Carol Mihal and Sue Cook, planned the afternoon with some special time after the matches in the Bistro for folks to talk and compare notes on how to get their forehands working. This event was open to both members and those interested in getting started in tennis.
In addition, the club celebrated the start of the professional tennis season with a celebration of the Australian Open at the Mihal’s home on January 28. We watched the televised matches of the finals while feasting on great drinks and snacks.
And, hey, if you want to get started in tennis, we are a welcoming group. Simply go to www.saddlebrookeranch.org/tennis for more information.
