The 2018 SBRWGA Solheim Cup tournament began with a kick-off party at the home of Marlyce Mycka on February 9 where Pink Team Captain, Janice Mihora, and Red Team Captain, Sue Wells, revealed team selections. Solheim Cup competition was played on February 12 with a Four-Ball Match Play and February 13 with a Chapman Format. After two days of match play, the Pink Team won with 12 points while the Red Team had 8 points. After the second day match, the ladies all celebrated with a lunch at the Bistro. A special thanks goes to our Solheim Committee of Nancy Galant, Jeanne Hansel, Gaye Ohanian, Lee Rinke, Barb Simms, Cheri Alfrey, Bonnie Stark, Cheryl Reddy and Marlyce Mycka, our Special Events chair. We also want to thank our social chairperson, Mindy Hawkins, and her committee, as well as Michael Ohanian who served as our photographer.
