SaddleBrooke Heath Fair nears

The SaddleBrooke Health Fair is Saturday, October 13, 9:00 a.m.–noon, at the SaddleBrooke One clubhouse. Parking will be at MountainView with luxury coaches shuttling between MountainView and SaddleBrooke One. Shuttles run until 1:30 p.m. allowing time for lunch at the Road Runner. Parking for golf carts and cars with handicap stickers is at SaddleBrooke One.

Something Old, Something New

The planning committee aims every year to balance favorite, traditional exhibitors with new services.

When you approach the doors, you will see something old: the drop-off location for unused medications and old eyeglasses. Bring your old medications for proper disposal and used eyeglasses for donation. Only pills will be accepted; no containers, no liquids, no needles.

What to do with the containers? That will be handled by something new: the SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue Network will accept your old prescription containers. These containers will be given to the Pima Animal Care Center to send meds home with adopted pets. Remove the labels for privacy.

College of Pharmacy

Always popular, the University of Arizona’s College of Pharmacy does free screenings for blood sugar, A1C, cholesterol and hypertension. Pharmacy students are carefully selected for this event and work under the supervision of their professor.

Plastic Surgery

The Health Fair is pleased to welcome back Hess & Sandeen Plastic Surgery. Their expertise is well known in the Tucson area and you will be able to discuss your individual issues with these highly-skilled surgeons specializing in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
