SBR PhotoWorks club members enjoyed a presentation on Jan. 12 by Eric Peffer from SaddleBrooke on “Black & White Photography in a Digital World.” Eric posed the question if black and white photography is “curious analog artifact or a relevant way to create compelling imagery with our modern cameras?”
During his presentation, he demonstrated that modern cameras and the associated editing software presents us with the possibility of crafting stunning black and white photography now more than ever. Many examples of his photography were shown as well, as original prints were available for viewing.
The SBR PhotoWorks club is a photography community of skill-novice, skill-intermediate, and skill-advanced photographers. They plan a few formal presentations to bring members together, but otherwise, encourage members to use the Groupworks page to share images, ask questions, have discussions, and invite other members to get together or go on photo outings.
