SaddleBrooke Ranch Pickleball Association (SBRPA) is proud to announce that Rudy Dominguez has now completed his certification to test 4.0 and 4.5 skill levels by the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA). SBRPA now follows the IPTPA guidelines in testing the advancement of ratings of a player. Rudy had been certified to only test 3.0 and 3.5 pickleball players requesting to advance to the next level of play. Rudy’s new certification gives the club the honor of having a local member certified to perform the advancement testing for high-level players.
Rudy has lived in the Ranch for more than nine years and has been an avid pickleball player for six of those years. Rudy has always been an outstanding athlete and when he started to play pickleball his game quickly improved. He is often seen on the court either coaching a player, testing some members, practicing, or playing. He has participated and been successful in local, state, and national tournaments. He is committed to the game and helping all players become the best they can be at playing and enjoying pickleball.
Larry Burchfield, president of SBRPA, stated that Rudy has been very dedicated to helping in developing the club’s rating and advancement process. SaddleBrooke Ranch Pickleball Association gives a big thanks to Rudy for volunteering so much of his time to the club!
