You may view Diane’s work at www.dianevulcan.myportfolio.com. Diane will also be teaching a four-session Watercolor Class starting on Wednesday, March 1 at 1 p.m.
Class description: You will learn to plan a painting by beginning with a value sketch drawn from your own photo reference and receive guidance while beginning, working on and finishing your painting throughout the sessions. You will plan a painting in design and composition with particular attention to shapes and values. You will study perspective and how to capture mood and atmosphere in a painting.
This class is open to both intermediate and beginner oil painters. If you are new to oil painting, Diane encourages you to come to the first session a ½ hour early (8:30 a.m.) for a short orientation session.
