Voices in the Oaks Chorale will be performing on Sunday, April 14, at 3 p.m. at the Oracle Center for the Arts located at 700 E. Kingston St. in Oracle. This program features 10 pop songs including classics from The Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, and other great artists from the ’60s and ’70s.
Due to the exciting leadership of our music director, Meg Foote, and accompanist, Devin Gardner, the choir has grown to 29 members, including these 12 SaddleBrooke Ranchers: Sopranos—Barb St Jules, Ruth Zoccoli, Janice Mihora, Linda Volz; Altos—Carmen Garrod, Lucinda Legel, Nancy Carlson; Tenors—Arnie Tolks, Marthalee Galeota, Richard Lovett, Chuck Meier; and Bass—Steve Hanns.
We are also very excited to announce that Voices in the Oaks will perform an additional joint concert with the University of Arizona staff/faculty choir! This performance takes place on May 12 at 3 p.m. in St. Mark’s Methodist Church located at 1431 W. Magee Road in Tucson.
Voices in the Oaks is a community choir based in Oracle and we welcome all who love to sing. Come to our performance, wear something groovy to get in the mood, enjoy our exciting repertoire, meet the members, and join our choir next fall!
