The SBR Ukulele Club is offering free beginner ukulele lessons with a free loaner ukulele to use!
Try it just for fun! You can’t read music? You don’t need to! Whether you’ve played before or want to learn now, you are invited to join in the fun of playing the ukulele. Ukulele songs are never sad! It is small and inexpensive, travels easily, and is great at parties!
Try it for six weeks with other beginners. Students should bring their tablet or iPad to download a book.
Lessons will be held Wednesdays, Jan. 5 through Feb. 16, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the La Mesa Room. Learn from Carla Marquardt, who has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and more than 35 years of experience teaching music.
