As we are emerging out of the pandemic, our neighbors at the Ranch continue to have needs. Volunteers with SBR Neighbors Helping Neighbors can assist you. One of the great things about living in a community like ours is the way we can look out for each other. Everyone can use a little help occasionally, and SBR Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a way to connect those of us who need help with those of us who can lend a hand.
Do you or a neighbor need a ride to the grocery store or to have someone pick up an order or do some shopping for them? A neighbor might need meals delivered while they are recuperating from illness or surgery. Simple handyman skills are needed around the house for occasional tasks that they can’t do themselves. And with the sense of isolation that has been felt the past couple of years, our neighbors may continue to be dealing with loneliness and have a need for conversation and social interaction. We all need connection!
You may be at a point in life where you need a little help or could use a phone call or visit. Or you may be that neighbor who is looking for a way to reach out and offer that help. Some of us need a hand—some of us are looking to lend a hand. Whichever place you find yourself in, we’d like to hear from you.
If you could use the assistance of a neighbor or if you know of a neighbor who has a need, please let us know. If you’re available to be a helping neighbor, let us know. It’s as simple as sending us an email at [email protected]. We’ll do what we can to make that neighbor-to-neighbor connection happen!
