Is It Real or Is It…

Was this picture taken by a camera or cell phone? (Photo by Steve Felber)

At the Travel Talk Tuesday meeting on May 26, Steve Felber will share his photographic knowledge to help answer one of our frequent questions when planning our next trips: “Should I bring my real camera along or will my cell phone camera be good enough?”

Before Steve moved to the ranch in 2018, he was a “serious amateur” photographer for many years and took many college-level classes focusing on the technical aspects of the medium.  Along with being a wedding and then a landscape photographer, he’s been published in several periodicals and featured in a Shutterbug magazine article.

Steve led a photo group ‘back home,’ belonged to three other clubs, and gave quite a few tutorials to groups along the way. So he feels comfortable in his knowledge and ability to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of cell phone cameras vs. real cameras. You might be surprised to hear his recommendations.

Please join us on May 26 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the La Mesa room to learn the differences between the two, and which is the better choice for your next trip.

We also look forward to you joining us for other future travel presentations. If you would like to be a presenter and/or help us coordinate “Travel Talk Tuesday” (TTT), please contact Wonona Davis at sbrtraveltalktuesday@gmail.com.
