Sheriff Lamb graduated Valedictorian of his class in the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Academy and shortly after was named Rookie of the Year. He was later promoted to detective of the Gang Enforcement Unit where he was involved with a wide variety of law enforcement actions and investigations including drive by shootings, drug cases, assaults and homicides. He has worked with federal, state and tribal cases including the federal Rico case that disrupted and dismantled one of the most violent gangs in the East Valley.
