Hurry in and sign up for our first intro class of 2023 scheduled on Thursday, Jan. 12, from noon to 3 p.m. You will be amazed at what your pottery piece will look like. Our facilitators are exceptional at bringing out your creative side. To enroll, drop by the studio during studio hours and provide your contact info on the signup sheet. The cost is $40 for two sessions (all materials included). Or leave a payment in the studio drop box. During the first session, you build your own pottery piece with the class facilitator. The second session covers various glazing techniques allowing you to choose glazes that fit your personality and decorating style.
Speaking of glazes, the studio has colors galore for members to use. We also stock specialty glazes and stains. If you’re not sure how the color will look on your piece, sample test tiles show how glazes look on different clays.
Once a member, you can also join many of our standing committees (glaze, membership, clay, display case, publicity, intro classes, and setup support). These volunteers provide valuable resources to our studio. This is a fun way to add your input and support as a member of the studio.
Regular studio hours are:
* Mondays and Wednesdays, 3 to 5 p.m.
* Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
* Fridays, 9:30 a.m. to noon
