Watercolor—Sunflower Field

Join Liz Iverson as she leads you step-by-step creating a beautifully expressive watercolor painting capturing a cluster of golden blooms in the warm autumn light. The image will be pre-drawn on watercolor paper so you can focus on painting. All levels welcome!
Fun, Colorful Ceramics—Trays

Sip & Paint! Backroad Sunnies

Kathy Magner returns to teach another fun happy hour class. Join existing and new friends while painting a stunning picture of sunny flowers off a country road. Perfect for both beginners and seasoned painters.
Creative Collage—Rabbit or Burro

Tucson artist Theresa Poalucci returns with a new class aptly called Creative Collage where you will experience collage as fine art. Using an exclusive collection of handmade and artisan papers, create a one-of-a-kind finished piece of artwork you’ll be proud to display. No experience necessary!
Mosaic Jewelry Pendants

Join Tucson artist Gillian Allard to create your own one-of-a-kind mosaic jewelry using glass, beads, and other found treasures. You’ll design two unique pendants that will stay beautiful for years to come. All materials provided. Perfect for all levels including beginners!
Introduction to Zentangle
Nov. 19, 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Many residents of SBR are now fans of Zentangle art. Here’s your opportunity to join in on the fun! This will be an introductory class on the basic steps of the Zentangle method. No artistic ability is required! You will create several pieces of art in a supportive, relaxing environment.
Paper Quilling—Angels
Nov. 19, 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Celebrate the season with a paper quilled angel ornament! Roll and shape paper strips into an elegant angel with delicate wings and gem accents, finished with a gold hanging cord. No experience needed—all materials provided. Beginners welcome!
Zentangle—Tangling with Borders
Nov. 23, 9 to 11:30 a.m.
In this class, instructor Val Barsevich, CZT, will focus on the addition of border tangles to enhance your tiles as well as an elegant floral focus tangle. This class is suited for anyone that has taken the introductory or refresher class in Zentangle and is appropriate for all skill levels.
