On Nov. 9, paper-quilling artist Erin Newman offered another quilling class, this time making paper-quilled angels for the holidays. The house was full with 17 Art Club members! Each student had time to make two angel ornaments using two different quilling techniques: first, using a comb in the quilling, and then the traditional method using the slotted tool. Some mentioned they loved learning how to use different quilling tools that they hadn’t used before. Paper quilling classes in the art room are very popular classes. Erin plans on teaching more quilling classes this year.
