Partners Western Dance Club has a lot of boot scooting, ground pounding and dancing fun scheduled for the upcoming year. The club has scheduled a dance on Friday, February 17, with Branded Duo; Thursday, March 23, with The Workingman’s Band; and Friday, April 7, again with Branded Duo. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss the great music and the dancing fun.
The menu for the February 17 dance will be chicken piccata, cold poached salmon, rice pilaf, veggies, salad, rolls and brownies! The doors and cash bar will open at 5:00 p.m., dinner at 5:45 p.m. and Branded Duo will play from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. Reservations will be $27 per club member. The deadline for reservations is Thursday, February 9.
Membership in the Partners Western Dance Club is $15 per person.
Jane and Stan Gromelski, SaddleBrooke residents, will offer beginner Texas 2 Step and Western Waltz dance classes on Wednesdays in February starting on February 1 in the MountainView Ballroom at 6:00 p.m. Classes will continue for five more weeks with the sixth and final class on March 8. The tuition for the six class series will be $48 per couple. That works out to $4 per person per class.
At 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays we will offer intermediate Texas 2 Step and Western Waltz, again starting on February 1 and running through March 8 in the MountainView Ballroom.
We try to make classes relaxed and fun; it is easier to learn when you are having fun, and we dance because it is fun!
Starting Thursday, February 2, in the Mesquite Fitness Room we will offer beginners Partner Pattern dance classes. Intermediate classes will start at 7:00 p.m. These pattern dances offer a change of pace for our dancers. Some are easy, others more complicated, but they are all part of the challenge and fun of Western dance. These classes are also $4 per person, per class.
Grab your partner, some friends and come join the growing number of Western dancers here in SaddleBrooke.
