‘Twas 6 days before Christmas and all through the house the hot cocoa was steaming to share with their spouse!
The cocoa was packed in the thermos with care
In hopes that Winterhaven would soon be there!
Then out on the lawn, there arose such a clatter, it was 16 Ranchers with all of their chatter!
Come on Linda, Bev & Dianne – to the right
A loaded up buckboard for you all tonight!
On Debbie, Zenia, Joann, & Nancy the buckboard is cozy but it is not fancy
Hurry up Marianne & Carolee
There are carolers to hear & hundreds of lights to see!
A wink of his eye & twist of his head soon gave us to know that Winterhaven was ahead!
He spoke not a word & put his tractor to work, then drove through the twinkling lights & turned around with a jerk
He sprang off his tractor & gave us a whistle as the lights shined behind us like the dawn of the thistle
But we heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight
