Recently the Ranchette Putters traveled to SaddleBrooke to putt with the Mountain View Lady Putters. It has been six years since the two clubs putted together, so both clubs have been looking forward to the event.
On August 14, 25 Ranchette Putters car pooled to SaddleBrooke where they were graciously greeted by the Mountain View Lady Putters. Following a mix and mingle session at registration, the teams took their places on the green. Our hosts favor the same bright pink shirts for their club colors, so the putting green was a sea of pink.
The Mountain View putting green is only nine holes, but a unique challenge was added by putting nine holes against bumpers. Our hosts displayed their creativity and sense of humor with the setup and delivered an enjoyable putting event.
Following some very fun and different putting, the putters returned to HOA-1 for some chilled beverages and social time. After an opportunity to cool down the putters were happy to enjoy a wonderful plated lunch consisting of pulled pork with two sides and followed by a delicious chocolate brownie.
The Ranchette Putters would like to thank their host, the Mountain View Lady Putters, for their gracious invitation and wonderful hospitality.
